Lindsay went to a class-mates 4 yr old birthday party today. They had a pirate ship piñata that was made from industrial strength steel plating. It took an adult whacking that thing, and then ripping it open to get any candy out. Then the mad dash to scoop up the mini-sized chocolate bars and sweet tarts from the stained floor of the pavilion at the Statesville Soccer Complex. This is a picture of Lindsay sitting next to her new BFF, Hailee.

I find this lizard everywhere in the house. It usually hides in a dark corner and I catch it in the corner of my eye and jump, thinking, "What the hell is that!! Oh yeah. That damn lizard."

My family spent the weekend at a cabin in Bat Cave, NC. One of the evening activities (if you hadn't had too much to drink yet) was puzzle building. If you did have too much to drink, you made fun of the puzzle builders. Note that I am not at the table building a puzzle.
